If you’ll be in Mo’orea, Bora Bora, or Ra’iātea - then I know where you can get your pearls! If you won’t be at any of these islands, then I would suggest to get your pearls in Papeete, Tahiti, somewhere near the Marche.
All shops speak English, French. In Ra’iatea, they speak English, French, and Tahitian.
Please note that you cannot get more than 10 loose pearls and bring them outside of the country.
